PTI Technologies in Oxnard, CA completed its retrofit and installation of Solar Panels on the roof of it’s building at 501 Del Norte as well as carports in the employee parking lot. Senior management at PTI state that the panels will supply the company with 60% of it’s monthly electrical needs reducing the costs and dependence on the local electrical grid. The panels will be tied into the companies power panel in early July and will start supplying electricity immediately. The cost of these panels have come down to a point where the ROI makes more sense as well as reducing the companies overall carbon footprint.
