Sam Chapetta, President

Sam Chapetta was appointed president of PTI Technologies in 2000. Prior to this appointment Mr. Chapetta held a number of positions within ESCO Technologies Inc. (ESCO). He also holds the position of Filtration Group Vice President for ESCO. Mr. Chapetta has over 30 years of experience and has held positions with KPMG Peat Marwick, Deloitte & Touche and other manufacturing organizations. He holds a MS Degree, and a BA Degree.

Mike Alfred, VP Finance
|

Mr. Alfred is Vice President of Finance and Administration at the Company and is responsible for finance, contracts and IT. Most recently, Mr. Alfred was Corporate Controller of Special Devices Inc. a publicly held tier II automotive supplier. Prior to Special Devices he was Director of Finance and Administration of a TRW Space and Electronics Group subsidiary. Prior to TRW he was Director of Finance/Controller at HR Textron. He began his career at Allied Signal’s Electro Optics Division working through various positions to Vice President of Finance and Administration of it’s publicly held Apollo Lasers subsidiary. Mr. Alfred has over 20 years of experience working in the Aerospace and Automotive industries both domestically and internationally. Mr. Alfred also has extensive background in S.E.C. and Government statutory accounting, M&A due diligence and general management. Mr. Alfred is a CMA and holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BA from Michigan State University.

Rowland Ellis, VP Engineering

Rowland Ellis, VP of Engineering – His responsibilities include oversight and direction of the following functional groups: Design Engineering, Sustaining Engineering, Test Engineering and Program Management. Mr. Ellis has over 10 years of direct experience in the filtration industry, over which time he has served in a number of technically diverse roles with progressive levels of increased responsibility. He is actively involved in PTI’s Continuous Improvement initiative, as both a Kaizen event participant as well as a member of the steering committee. He is active on industry technical committees and was granted a US Patent in 2005 for his co-invention of a wireless MEMS sensing device. He has a BSME and MSME from the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as an MBA from Pepperdine.

Kanwar Suri, VP Operations
|

Mr. Suri is Sr. VP of Operations with responsibility for all phases of operations i.e. element assembly, aero module assembly, planning (MRP), machine shop, manufacturing engineering, supply chain management, budgeting, capital planning and facilities. He oversees, directs and manages all operations, on time delivery, shipments and quality. He has over twenty five years of experience in the filtration industry working in different positions. He has helped the technical committees in developing several industrial standards and given technical papers on filtrations. He holds four US patents in the field of hydraulic filtration and pressure sensing devices. He also holds a DER certification from FAA.
