Our Fluid Power products offer high capacity, high efficiency beta rated, micro fiber glass filtration ranging from 3µ where Bx >200. This means that the efficiency in removing the most damaging, wear generating particles is in excess of 99.5 percent. Pressure capability runs to 6.000 psig. Lubrication flows can range above 600 GPM.

Power Generation Power

Power Generation is a leading segment of our economy with revenues well into the billions of dollars. Industry studies have concluded that bearing and lube system component failures are the number one cause of forced outages or “Brown Outs” in North America and can be extremely costly.

PTI offers innovative duplex assemblies to meet the needs of the Power Generation Market, utilizing our proven Glas-Tech® high performance contaminant filters and Can Absorb II water removal filters that provide the best insurance available for smooth, uninterrupted operation of the turbine lube and hydraulic systems.

Primary Metals

Downtime in steel and aluminum mills is extremely critical. Much of the equipment is servo controlled and requires filters with B3 > 200 efficiency to control wear generating contaminants which can be detrimental to system components and reduce mill productivity. PTI meets the filtration requirements of the Primary Metals Market with our Glas-Tech® contaminant and Can Absorb II water removal elements that provide the best available insurance for smooth, uninterrupted operation of mill equipment.

Mobile Equipment

Hydraulic system pressures of 5,000 to 6,000 psi are not uncommon on mobile equipment today and high performance wear retardant filtration is vital to protect critical system components and guard against premature failures.

PTI has filter assemblies capable of handling the rigorous requirements of Mobile Equipment. Our Glas-Tech II elements, which are capable of controlling wear damaging contaminants, provide the best available insurance for smooth, uninterrupted equipment operation.

Industrial Equipment

Newer industrial equipment is typically proportional or servo valve controlled to ensure precise positioning and requires wear retardant filtration to control abrasive contaminants which are detrimental to system components and can reduce equipment productivity.
